Hi Phil.
There isn't a link to the blog from the main site yet, that will involve uploading around 300 pages!. This blog thing is just an experiment to see how it goes.

The OS license situation has always been a disgrace, these recent developments have made it even worse and merely clarified how bad it now is. I was almost on the point of succumbing and buying a license until I heard about this, I'll stick to my outline maps now.

Actually paper maps can be bought unfolded as pristine sheets - could they tell the difference between scans of those and digital images?.

Hello Geoff - found this page via comment on Bearded Git's blog - can't actually see your blog listed on your main website. Am I looking in the wrong place? The question of OS maps came up recently on the OFC site - it's amazing that OS expect website owners to scan paper maps - do they really think people will want to do that? The whole thing looks a mess but I expect OS want to restrict users as much as possible, despite the public money that has gone into mapping in the past.
